Dr. Miller, public health director confirmed 6 new positive cases in Scott County today.

-1 females: age 19

-5 males: ages 23, 25, 29, 31 ,37

Several of these cases have been in close contact with another positive patient. We have identified a cluster at the Scott Co. Detention Center and are working closely with the jailer and staff to ensure all necessary precautions and isolations are taken. 3 of our male positives and one of our female positives from earlier this week are linked to this facility. We have a cumulative total of 188 positive cases of COVID19 in Scott County. 93 of these cases have fully recovered and 95 are active. Contact tracing on our cases proves what we already know about this virus, as many are linked by close contact and travel. We are experiencing a spike in cases.
