We are happy to announce that Scott County Fiscal Court recently received a litter abatement grant from the state of Kentucky’s Energy Environmental Cabinet. We are using this generous grant to clean up 200 miles of roadside litter within this next week!
We are very grateful for this grant that has enabled us to save money on our general fund and clean up our roads. Thank you to JR Brandenburg, the Scott County Road Department Director, and his team for their help! We would also like to thank Robert Bruin and his crew at the City of Georgetown Public Works for their assistance with roadside clean-up! It is truly a team effort to clean 200 miles of roadside litter, so we are extremely grateful for all those who have contributed to the effort to use this grant for good!
