PROPOSED PLAN AMENDMENT SCOTT COUNTY AREA SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN
The Fiscal Court of Scott County, Kentucky, in its capacity as the Governing Body of the Scott County Solid Waste Management Area, applied for and received approval on March 13, 2019 to propose an amendment to the Scott County Area Solid Waste Management Plan. This notice opens a 30-day comment period on two alternatives proposed for amendment of the Scott County Area Solid Waste Management Plan.
The proposed amendment to the 2018-2022 Scott County Solid Waste Management Plan would affect Pages 5 and 6 of the Plan. The options for which public comment is sought are whether to (a) eliminate authorized capacity for future disposal of municipal solid waste within Scott County; or (b) to reduce the authorized capacity for future disposal of municipal solid waste.
The proposed plan amendment options are available for public inspection beginning on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the following location during their normal business hours:
