It is getting colder outside, and we know what that means. Snow could be coming very soon!

The Scott County Road Department is prepared to handle even the worst snow falls of this coming season. They have been working hard since mid-October to get all their snow vehicles up and running smoothly. They have stocked up on 3500 TONS of salt for our roads! Which is more than plenty for this season. They also have 10 dump trucks for the longer trips and 6 pickup trucks for the subdivisions all checked and approved to handle snow and avoid breakdowns. Supervisor, JR Brandenburg trusts that his department is more than ready and equipped to handle the upcoming winter months.
