SCOTT COUNTY FISCAL COURT ORDINANCE NO. 22-05 *** *** *** *** AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PARKING ON THE SIDE OF CER TAIN STREETS IN THE HOMESTEAD SUBDIVISION WITNESSETH: WHEREAS , certain parking limitations are contained in the restrictions for the Homestead Subdivision; and WHEREAS , some citizens of the Homestead have requested that the Scott County Fiscal Court prohibit parking on the side of some of the streets in the subdivision; and WHEREAS , the court has considered their request and find that it is in the best interests of the citizens that reside in the subdivision to restrict said parking. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE SCOTT COUNTY FISCAL COUR T as follows: 1. There shall be no parking on the designated side of the following streets located in the Homestead Subdivision: Homestead Parkway , Shannon Lane, Shannon Court, Devin Lane, Devin Court, Casey Lane, Casey Court, Joshua Lane, Joshua Court, Thomas Lane, Harp Court, Haney Court, Prater Drive, Racoon Run, Lost Tree Drive, Blowing Tree Drive, and W indsong Way 2. Appropriate signage shall be erected which prohibits parking on one side of these streets. 3. This ordinance may be enforced by the Scott County Sherif f or any other law enforcement having jurisdiction. 4. Violations of this ordinance shall be punishable by a ten dollar ($10) fine. 5. The ordinance shall take ef fect upon its passage and publication as required by law .
