Dr. Miller, public health director confirmed 2 new positive cases of COVID-19 in Scott county this evening. A female younger than 40 and a male younger than 30.

One of the positive cases is a first responder. This person is in home isolation and all protocols have been followed.

We have a total 26 positive cases of COVID19 in Scott County. All active cases are recovering at home. The fact that all active cases are recovering at home is great news but please keep these individuals and all our Medical Personnel and First Responders in your thoughts and prayers.

It is our intention to keep our community informed as the situation evolves. A reminder that the most important thing you can do to keep us all safe is stay home and practice social distancing when you have to be out in public.

Governor Beshear reported 242 new cases and 11 new deaths related to Coronavirus.
With Easter this Sunday the Governor also continued to promote online church services . Drive up services are allowed but social distancing must be observed. I know this is difficult for many people. I will observe Easter from home with my family.

I find reassurance in the verse from
Matthew 18:20
Wherever two or three gather in my name , there I am with them.

We will get through this Together!
