9 30.1 S COTT FISCAL COURT O RDINANCE NO. 92-008 A N ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE AD OPT ION OF S UBDIVISION REGULATIONS FOR SCO TT COUN TY A ND THE REPEAL OF THE PRE-EXISTING SU BDIV ISIO N R EGULATIONS ORIGINALLY ADOPTED DECE MBE R 19 70 AN D REVISED IN FEBRUARY 197 7 T he Planning Commission and staff having conducted numerous m eetings and public hearings for the purpose of establishing updated s tandards for subdivision regulations in the County of Scott, and W HEREAS, the Planning Commission, based upon those meetings and h earings has recommended to the Fiscal Court a new set of subdivision r egulations which will supersede and replace the existing subdivision r egulations adopted originally in December 1970 and revised in F ebruary 1977 and it appearing that the proposed regulations a dequately provide for the health, safety and welfare for the c itizens of Scott County as it relates to the regulation of s ubdivisions. N OW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE SCOT T FI SCAL CO URT AS F OLLOWS: T he subdivision regulations recommended by the Planning C ommission on March 26, 1992, are hereby adopted. The previous s ubdivision regulations adopted December 1970 revised February 1977 a re h ereby repealed. T he Planning Commission is hereby authorized to make such a mendments to these regulations as appear appropriate from time to t ime p ursuant to state law.
