SCOTT COUNTY FISCAL COURT ORDINANCE NO. 19-09 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN MADISON COUNTY FISCAL COUR T AND SCOTT COUNTY FISCAL COURT FOR THE USE OF THE KENTUCKY COUNTIES GOVERNMENT CLOUD (KCGC) WHEREAS, the Scott County Fiscal Court has been approached by the Madison County Fiscal Court about providing data center services to Scott County; and WHEREAS, the data center would be operated under the name of the Kentucky Counties Government Cloud ("KCGC"), operated by Madison County; and WHEREAS, the county has received assurances that the facility operated by Madison County meets the specifications of a tier 3 data center by providing 99 .982% ava il ability; and WHEREAS , the county has been assured that the Madison County facility has the appropriate power requirements , cooling requirements, technological infrastructure, and technical staff to operate the data center; and WHEREAS, the county has agreed to the fees associated with the service to be provided by Madison County; and WHEREAS, both counties have agreed to enter into an lnterlocal Agreement reflecting their agreement; NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby ordained by the Scott County Fiscal Court as follows : SECTION 1. The county hereby agrees to enter into an lnterlocal Agreement for Kentucky Counties Government Cloud (" KCGC ") between Madison County Fiscal Court and Scott County Fiscal Court, the same being attached hereto.
